What made me write about this show in here was last week's episod. The episod had Salman Khan as a guest. Salman Khan was really enjoying the show not like others who just come to the show as a guest because they have to. Not that I am favoring Salman Khan but seriously, you could feel that he was involved in the show. The funny thing is, his comments for Himesh Reshammiya.
He constantly made digs at friend turned for Himesh Reshammiya by requesting Himesh’s student Joy Chakraborty "Tum Naak Se Mat Gaana". He even suggested Joy that he should hold the mike like Himesh. But one should respect Himesh Reshammiya for his loyalty towards Salman Khan as Salman was the one who gave Himesh Reshammiya first break. Himesh doesn't miss a chance of mentioning about Salman's favour for him whenever possible. And during this SaReGaMaPa show as well, Himesh kept quite even after Salman's criticism.
I was just watching the news about SaReGaMaPa's TRP. The show is getting popular. I wasn't sure abou how the TRP works initially but after doing some googling I found one article which explains the details of TRP.
Initially INTAM (Indian Television Audience Measurement) was the only electronic rating agency functioning in India. But now a new company called Audience Measurement & Analytics (P) Limited has launched India's first on-line TV audience rating system. The site gives TRP reports for yesterday on their website. For last week as of 20th July, ZeeTV was ranked top and has 39% viewers. Check out this URL
Anyways, so I was talking about SaReGaMaPa and its contestants. One thing I like and don't like about these shows is its voting system. I believe most of the people don't vote and those who vote, vote so many times for their family member of friends and that way a genuin talent doesn't get to win. Mostly people don't want to spend their money for doing SMS and why would they. I wouldn't spend money to vote. The good news is that now you can vote online for these kind of shows. I already wrote about voting online for Indian Idol 3. And now I am going to give you the URL for voting online for SaReGaMaPa 2007. It's not that they don't advertise about their online voting system during the show, but still I thought it would be handy for you guys. So here is the link.
