Reasons To Believe That Raaz Pichle Janam Ka Is Fake

Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka, a new reality show on NDTV Imagine making big splash among Indians and their emotions. Many believe that its real and many believe that its fake. In fact we currently have a running poll that asks users about their opinion on whether the Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka is Fake or Reality?
Reincarnation was told by Lord Krishna on the battle field of Kurushetra..in Bhagvad Gita...and many other scientists have researched on this fact. The principle behind reincarnation is that we are not these temporary bodies we are actually eternal spirit souls. Reincarnation is mentioned in Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism as well as Nizari Ismailism.

Re-experiencing one's past life or inter-life state is a very emotionally powerful and frequently nurturing experience. One cannot prove that these states really exist outside a person's psyche, however they are a phenomenological and felt reality and as experiences they are very real.

Hypnosis on the other hand is real, its a peculiar condition of the nervous system, induced by a fixed and abstracted attention of the mental and visual eye, on one object, not of an exciting nature. Hypnosis can definitely take you to your current life's events but sure can't take you to your previous life.

Here are some points that made me think about this whole fake/reality show Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka

Who is Dr. Trupti Jain? In the first Episode of Raaz Pichhle Janam ka, she was introduced as "Famous Dr. Trupti Jain". That's it?? What is her credibility? Who is she? Why do I believe that what she is doing is correct and not a script? I can not find anything about Dr. Trupti Jain in Google, Yahoo or Bing. If she is famous enough, wouldn't I find something that show me her social status? Now that she is on this show, all I can find about her is this show. If she is famous, what is her education? What made her famous? Does she hold any real awards or medals or something that make me believe in her?
In the first episode of Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka, the accident took place somewhere thousands of miles away and interestingly the birth took place back in India couple of miles away from previous birth place. Also if it was a plane crash in the middle of no-where, how can you know the name of the moutain that it was crashed onto? If you have a boarding pass, you remember everything except your full name? All you know about you is D. Singh? How ridiculous is that?
I just watched December 21st episode where Celina Jaitley was a guest. Dr. Trupti Jain asked her "Look into your wallet" and then realized that she has to ask whether she has one or not. How did Trupti Jain know that she had a wallet in her pocket?

Not only one or two episode but every episode that you watch, you will definitely find something that doesn't make sense. If you are currently an Indian but was a German in your previous birth, how do you understand German language or any other language? Does your soul know languages?

I do believe that there is some truth about your past and reincarnation but I don't believe that a person like Trupti Jain can bring up your past life in a reality show like this.

The way the show is formatted and visually mixed with present state of the participant and past life and the questions asked by Trupti Jayin is nothing but scripted. What Trupti Jain and NDTV are doing with the participants on the show is nothing but fooling the audience on the directions of TV channel and TRP/GRP they earn out of SMS.

I wonder if anyone of you, know someone who has been to the show and have talked to them about the show. Do you think NDTV Imagine might have signed a confidentiality agreement with the participants to not to talk about their show in public? To me, it all looks like scripted show with participant's involvement.

you dont even have a an iota of info wat hypnosis is subconscious creates false memories when asked for things it doesnt know,, theese are people eho accept authority of the hypnotist the subconscious fakes memories jus becus its asked to do so.

It is ironical and disheartening to see that so many people believe in "reincarnation". Memory and all events are stored in brain cells and when a person dies, the brain cells stop functioning....There is an argument in favour of rebirth is that there is a soul where memory is stored in addition to brain cells (ridiculous!!) It is strange that in Alzheimer's disease, there is substantial memory loss... soul does not come to help. Does it imply that when soul is in your body it will not provide any support (when person is unconscious, or he has a disease), and it only wakes up when it enters a new body.... utter foolishness... I get really perturbed to see educated people advocating rebirth and soul.... THE RAAZ PICHHLE JANAM KA - is an attempt to make money by playing with the ignorance, foolishness and lack of rational thinking amongst the human race...I see it as totally waste of time and anergy

Being a rationalist I very carefully watched every episode to get details that might be independently verified. FINALLY! iin Celina Jaitley's episode I discovered one small piece of evidence that just kills this and its perceived semblance of reality:

In her 2nd life Celina was a woman named Sylvia married to Edward in Islington, MA in the year 1974! Her husband was reading the "Washington Times" dated Aug 17th. Unfortunately, one small problem: Washington Times was not founded until "1982"!!!!! Oh BTW, in case you wish to argue, Celina was talking about a day in 1982, sorry, but she was born in this life in 1981, kinda tough being in two lives at once, eh!

Sucks for you Trupti..but Celina just screwed you royally

every one over here. The show which is on the screen these days pichle janam ka raz is not a fake show ... i can bet on this . as i mayself has gone through two sessions from a professional
and hv experienced it ....this is 100 % true....dso i request all of u to trust on it....if unabe to trust go for one session anyhere in india and find out urself instead of comenting here.

I believe strongly in re-incarnation but equally strongly believe this show is a fake...This is not some 'express line' to understanding reincarnation that just within a couple of hours, the participant goes 'under' and starts blabbing stuff about his or her past lives...Moreover, Dr Trupti Jain does not seem to be any renowned practitioner of paranormal psychology..she shouts out commands at the poor hypnotised subject and that reminds me of my headmistress in junior school! :)
Worldwide, renowned psychiatrists have been studying subjects and exploring their re-births, but that process takes MONTHS, not a couple of hours in front of the camera. Moreover, this kind of strain would require medical supervision also when done is 'reality'.
This show is a fake unfortunately and lacks transparency.

Friends, me and my friend are watching this serial from last 5 episodes. I have strong beleive in karma whatever you do, you will get fruit for it. Also I have strong believe in soul and rebirth. But Guys why you worrying about it. Listen if you watch this serial more you will keen to know about your previous birth and then more and more and more finaly you will get insane thinking about your previous karma, believe me. We can't proove this serial's truth only God and tripti jain knows but one thing is sure you always feel that you want to feel. I think there is always something in your mind that this is my habit then May be "I would be this in my previous birth" and I think that little thought in corner of our mind is exploided by tripati Jain. But Guys dn't leave your expectation from your life simply because you think that you have done something wrong in your previous birth thats why you are suffering this will kill your life.
Please leave the God's task to God and live your life to full extent and be happy.

Past Life Regression is a therapy detailed in the Upnashid and other Indian scriptures. The technique is ancient and is also used today by other regressionists. So we will have to let Dr Trupti jain off the hook because she is following the techniques which are detailed in journals of hypnosism etc..

The question is whether one is actually visualizing ones past life or not. That nobody knows. Even if you go through regression yourself there is still no proof that what you see is your past life, or just your brain conjuring images.

I would probably not beleive it myself had it not been for the fact that research is showing that what ever knowledge the Vedas and other ancient scriptures discuss, is all true. So who knows we might be looking at something real and dont even know it.

Ofcourse NDTV has lied to us in the past and are doing the show for TRPs. They are like fake sadhus, thanks to who we question sciences like astrology.

My suggestion - study the scriptures yourself , undergo regression, contemplate. Then maybe we will have some answers.

I have done lots of reading and practices in spirituality and have come to a conclusion that all that our great saints (both living and past) which have told us again and again about karma cycle and rebirth is true. This is the greatest gift from India to the world.
About the show, I am sure it is true. Do not find small faults on the way Ravi talks or the way they have created the drama with uniforms etc. The real thing is , it is the participants who talk and explain about their previous birth and not the Doctor. If you think of complete staged show , then it would come out if participants are included in it. Also note that celebrities will not tell lies including Shekhar Suman , he will not tell lies about his son as it is very close to his heart. They do not need money.

Also note that they have verified at many instances the details about previous birth (like the flight no, name , year etc.) and it found to be true.

It is unfortunate that the our young generation does not believe about our great religion i.e. Hinduism and they think it is 'downmarket'. You will find all the news channels showing bad comments about sadhus, there are vasted interests and also the ignorance.

After watching the programs , I am sure that we have lived our lives again and again doing and aspiring the same small desires.

This is the best eye opener reality program, I have ever seen.

It is time to refect upon ourselves , and find who you are, why are you here, you are anyway going through the death cycle , whether you believe it or not.

@Anonymous, No body here is denying on the re-incarnation or rebirth and everybody is believing in Hinduism.

Its just that all of us here don't believe that the show is real. It looks like fabricated show and a show to increase NDTV Imagine's TRPs. We don't believe that Dr. Trupti Jain who is nobody can show you your past life.

Have you ever heard of Dr. Trupti Jain before? Do you or any of your friend have seen their past life by Dr. Trupti Jain? Please help us understand that and we will all believe in this show.

I believe life before birth, but the majority of the people who participated in poll are young and don't believe in all these things as majority of people are not participating in this poll as they are not familiar with internet and computers and this might not be fair poll. That's what I think I might be wrong.
