Looks like businesses in India wants Indian future (kids) to play games and only games. Rather than encouraging students and children to study, they are coming up with more games and now gaming championship. ZFriction Ltd and Electronic ArtTM has launched a gaming championship in India.

The gaming championship will have total prize of Rs. 50 lakh. This championship will target more than 50,000 gamers from more than 500 top gameplexes to battle it out to secure a place among the 64 finalist teams shooting for the top spot in Mumbai in a three-day final to be held on June 13-15, 2008.

The Gaming Championship is called Vixture. Just recently Zapak announced that Zapak will create a cricket gaming zone on the official website of Knight Riders (www.kolkataknightriders.com). Zapak will make an investment of Rs 1 crore in this deal.
