Ram Gopal Verma is known to make crime thrillers. No one can forget his movie like Shiva(1990), Company, Sarkar and Rakhta Charitra. Now he has come back to his original genre and this year he is releasing Department, a movie on fight between gangsters in Mumbai and cops.

Department has amazing star cast featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Rana Daggubati and Nathaliya Kaur. The movie is scheduled to release on May 18th 2012.

Department Characters roles

  • Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing as The Mastermind as Sarjerao Gaikwad, a gangster-turned politician.

  • Sanjay Dutt will be playing as Bad Ass Cop - as Inspector Mahadev Bhosle, the leader of an encounter squad.

  • Rana Daggubati - a Recruit as Inspector Shivnarayan, an encounter specialist.
