So April 26th was the day Zee TV organized its awards function in UK. The official website for Zee Cine Awards 2008 is zeecineawards.co.uk. The site listed all the nominees for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Music etc and it allowed users to vote for their favourite actor/actress/director/music.

April 26th is gone and the results for the Best in Zee Cine awards 2008 are out.

Best Director
Aamir Khan - Taare Zameen Par

Best Actor (Male)
Shah Rukh Khan - Chak De! India

Best Actor (Female)
Kareena Kapoor - Jab We Met

Why do I feel like a Dejavu?? It looks the exact copy of Filmfare awards 2008. All the winner names are the same as Filmfare awards 2008. Even performance wise, it was all about Shahrukh, Saif Ali khan and Kareena Kapoor. Just tired of bollywood's biased behavior towards certain celebrities.

I noticed great performances in Tare Zameen Per, Guru, Life in Metro but every time there is a Shahrukh Khan film, he SHOULD be awarded. I just don't trust these Zee cine awards or Filmfare awards anymore. You can blindly say who would be the winner. There is no need to provide the freaking voting system. Its just a waste of your money for SMS.
