Q) A little background about yourself?
A) I am a Model and Beauty Queen, Miss Universal World and Miss India Talent Winner. I had acted on the big screen and on stage for 8 years. I am best known for my role in “Yes Boss” and “Jungle”. I did item songs in “Vastava” and “ Aakhen”. I started doing theatre at very early age and soon proved myself as an accomplished actress. In other words, whatever the medium, I seem to have a knack for being involved in successful projects.

Q) Please tell us about your first break?
A) My first break on the silver screen was “Yes Boss” with Sharukh Khan and Juhi Chawala.

Q) Please tell us about your Marathi Film “Aawhan”?
A) The cast and crew of “Aawhan” are Sachin Khedekar, Mohan Joshi and Prashant Patil. It is a story of one such unfortunate woman, Maalinga (Played by me) who despite of my resilience and efforts is denied the justice. My oppressor MLA Jaganath Kaalam is sitting on the top of the pyramid of power, where I can’t reach. So I prefer pride over my life. When system denies justice, people have to come forward and exercise their power. The MLA has to pay for his atrocities.

Q) Really, you deserve awards for this movie “Aawhan”?
A) Yes, it is my most challenging role so far.

Q) What is the story of “ Aur Pappu Pass Ho Gaya”?
A)  In this movie, Pappu played by Krishna Abhishek and Kiran played by me gets deeply involved in love with each other. Pappu , but when his said lie was about to climax, he notice that whatever he lied was about to be true. He gets frustrated and realizes his mistakes, and takes an initiative to reveal, but none of them was ready to accept his truth. In the end, story of the film takes a unique turn and when he comes to know the exact truth of his plan. Both (He and I ) gets agitated and unknowingly Pappu pass the exam to which he does not deserves.

Q) What were the locations of this movie?
A) The locations of this movie were Real City, Cine Star, Surve Farm Panvel, Jaipur.

Q) Your marriage with Amercian Husband Brad Listerman seems to be over?
A) Yes, it is true.

Q) How you came in contact with Krishna Abhishek?
A)  It was the first meeting on the sets of “Aur Pappu Pass Ho Gaya” in Jaipur. We have finally found acceptance from our families.

Q)  You did Hollywood Movie too?
A) Yes, “May Fly” and “My Bollywood Bride”

Q) Now   you are doing Bhojpuri Films too?
A) Yes, only with Krishna Abhhishek.

Q) Your forthcoming movies?
A) Holiday and Roshni

Q) How about your second innings?
A) My second innings started very successfully.  In the first inning, I was doing item songs etc. But I started my second innings as a heroine and main role. So I AM LUCKY to start my second innings

Q) Any message to the readers?
A)  One good turn deserves another. One good act is rewarded with another in return.
