To stock the site with the latest news, photos and video from the celebrity and entertainment world, Yahoo has partnered with Access Hollywood, along with the photo agencies X17 and Splash News. Access will supply the site with at least five original stories and videos each day.
Having Paris Hilton's jail issue in the air, Yahoo OMG! would definitely get good traffic and attraction from young crowd. The site has categories for "Hot Topics", "Celebs" and "News" where "Celebrity fans" can login to check out whats going on with their favorite celebrity.
Site features lot of "papparazi" pictures, information that is updated throughout the day and exclusive vidoes. One can sort news by celebrity and hot topics and on top of that users can comment and give their feedbacks.
Even though its a Hollywood celebrity gossip site, our favorite Aishwarya Rai is also featured on the site. The site lists Aishwarya Rai's latest Cannes festival pictures with Abhishek Bachchan. And how can our Shilpa Shetty stay behind in this. Her latest Richard Gere kiss video is also available on yahoo OMG!.
I wouldn't be surprised if Yahoo starts a similar site in India as well. Have you guys seen the Zee Tv's one of the celebrity program "B! News" ?? Its the same exact copy of AccessHollywood's E! News. The same stage, same background, same way of giving the news and Vikas Bhalla is doing a greate job in that program.
