The 16th Annual Star Screen Awards was held on January 9th 2010. The show was sponsored by Nokia.

Here were the nominations for the Star Screen Awards of 2010.

Amitabh Bachchan got the Best Actor award for his amazing portray of 13 year old boy in 'Paa" who suffered from Progeria.

Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots got the Best Film of 2009. Vidya Balan, got the Best Actress for Amitabh's mother in 'Paa'. Rajkumar Hirani got the Best Director award.

aamir khan is a great actor...why don't you guys honour him for what he's been doing for the past few years..i do agree he is wrong in not attending award shows,but why on earth are you making a mistake by just nominating him but not honouring him...remember guys there's only 1 aamir khan and no one can ever match him..& plz don't mention amitabh bachan bcoz both are completely differerent.

some of the nominatons don't make sense...why were they nominated???well i really can't understand..but this is not for the first time....bollywood and the viewers are now used to this!!!

we r missing out new talents in bollywood...the work of abhay deol is totally out of box but too wonderful...good to see such an intelligent actor in the industry...these peoples should get credits for wat they r doin...n talkin about salman khan,sorry to all his fans...he has not done tat good work to get an award for wanted if u will watch the original of wanted pokiri u will come to know about tat...

well amitabachan deserve a life time acievmnet now and he should rest at home. 3 idiots was the best in 2009. should not favour anyone, have fair mind.

though amitabh bacchan and vidya balan were understood...........why not konkona for wake up sid?.ranbir not being nominated for the same and so as abhay deol. no nomination for farhan akhtar for luck by chance...one of the finest movies of 2009.
and why boman irani given the award for benig negative...having some ideology as he portrayed in 3 idiots is being considered negative in bollywood.
as far sa music no comparison to rehman but music of tum mile was equally melodious.
it's high time ....wake up bollywood

surprized to see Abhay Deol, salman khan getting no nomination for their respective movies Dev and Wanted.
Well, about Rehman, it's just a flow as he is still getting the glory under his Oscar shadow. I am a die-hard fan of him but, this year the others were fine too. The year started with Dev D followed by Delhi 6 and then Kaminey.
