Shahrukh Khan has joined Twitter this new year of 2010. Looks like all the celebrities are jumping on the bandwagon of twitter to make their life more public and connect with their fans directly without involving any media.

Being extremely shy, I never thought I would be here (on Twitter). But my friend Karan Johar insisted that I should learn to share my life," Shah Rukh posted on his page.

"Thanks everyone, this is really sweet...didn't expect such a warm welcome. Love to you all," he added.

The actor shared his daily routine with his fans, tweeting, "kids and life calling.. watching tim burton's 9 with them, last holiday...so up late...catch up later. sleep or be awake well.love to all(sic).

Shahrukh Khan's official twitter account name is "iamsrk" but I saw duplicates of his twitter usernames such as 'imsrk'. Too bad SRK coulnd't get his account with username 'SRK' which is owned by Shabneez K from San Francisco Bay Area.

Currently SRK has 18000 followers and as the word is spreading across, his followers are hitting the roof. I wouldn't be surprised if SRK hits his 1 million followers in couple of weeks..

Srk bhaiya i really want to meet you. aap ko puri duniya ki lakdiya apna saiya manti hai par mai apko apna bhaiya manti ho aur chati hoon ki is bar apko wo sari rakhi bandhu jo maina aap ka liya kai salo(years) sai le rakhai hai ho sake to kabhi apni is sister ko yaad kar le na aur rakhi badwane a jana.

hi shahrukh.please sono:vapas anna khuda ke taraf .ye rasta shaitan ke raste he .bhut sundar he liken ye churt he .tom bi ye kam ko bhot pyar karde ho' me ye achy samche ke ye kam ko chorna sakht he liken khuda chahta he .kon jane savera zinda he ya nahy .rat men'tanhaie men acha soch .soch ke tomhara man or pa ye sab kehte he . ye kam karna45men bhut mushkel he but tom ye saktaho.moslem log ke lie'apna bachon ke lie 'man pa ke lie 'mot dunya ki bad lie' apno ke lie 'khuda ke lie vapas ana 'sacha rast ko 'khuda ke rasta.please .help yourself
