The sangeet was complete bollywood style with both the Rais and Bachchans as well as their friends putting up dance performances. The highlight of the sangeet was a dance performance put up by Ash-Abhi and another dance performance by Amitabh-Jaya. There was plenty of laughter, food and happiness all around the couple.
On the day of the wedding, the baraat left Jalsa to move towards the venue of the wedding, Prateeksha at 4 pm. The guests were taken by bus but en route the groom got off the bus and climbed onto his white horse. Abhishek wore a heavy white outfit filled with beautiful work and his face was covered with the traditional flowers. But no one could miss Abhi’s enthusiasm and happiness as he swayed to the music along with his baraatis who danced en route to Prateeksha. Abhi’s sister Shweta was also seen gyrating with the baraatis while dad Amitabh was supervising the entire event. Amitabh did seem a bit exasperated though when his guests spent too much time dancing as erratic fans seemed very keen to join them. (Source: BollyWood Mantra)
