Why doesn't this surprise me? Right on the day when Rahul Mahajan got married to Dimpy Nikunj on a national television, everyone knew that the marriage is not going to last more then a year.

Dimpy alleged that she was mercilessly beaten up by Rahul Mahajan in their Worli flat. Dimpy has alleged that Rahul punched, kicked and dragged her by her hair. She also said that in one of the fights, he had pointed a gun at her.

Condemning Rahul Mahajan's actions, Minister for Women and Child Development Krishna Tirath said that if Dimpy were to press charges, Rahul would have to face similar consequences as a common man.

I am surprised for the fact that Dimpy and her family were very well aware of Rahul's past. When Rahul was getting married on Swayamwar 2, I knew, you all knew that he has been accused of domestic violence in his first marriage. Rahul has had a troubled past with drug abuse charges and a divorce from childhood friend Shweta Singh.

So as they say, to get the cheap publicity, Dimpy now will have to suffer from the abuse.. what can I say..
