Lady Gaga is undoubtedly the biggest news in the music industry all over the world. Though Lady Gaga avers that India fascinates her and planned to visit the country, her busy schedule has prevented that from materializing. But she hopes to make it to India this year.

 

The recent concert in Singapore and subsequent shooting of a music video in US has made it impossible for Lady Gaga to visit the country. It is recently announced that she may visit India in October. But there is no authentic news about her actual plans- whether she is planning some concerts in India or the visit is just going to be a promo visit, to expand her fan base in the sub continent. There is no news yet of any concert planned or the dates and the planned venue if any.

Lady Gaga is named in Forbe’s list as World’s Most Powerful celebrities in 2011. She has plans to visit India again next year. It is interesting to note that Lady Gaga is fascinated by Indian philosophy. The singer of the famous ‘Born This Way’ says she finds that there are many parallel thoughts in her own philosophy and art and many aspects of Indian religion. She is especially attracted by the concepts of reincarnation in Indian thought and the ideas of rebirth while living.

Though she has missed her plans to visit India now, she is very keen on visiting the land that fascinates her. That is something her fans are also hoping!
