Here is some interesting story for our readers. The So-Called Indian Idol, Abhijeet Sawant and a participant of a show, Singer Prajakta Shukre, were beaten up by an angry crowd in Mumbai on Tuesday.

So what exactly happened? Why Abhijit Sawant was beaten up now? (I know why he wasn't beaten up at the first place when he was awarded as an Indian Idol singing like anything)..

Prajakta Shukre was driving her car with Abhijit Sawant and banged a scooter, which injured two teenagers.

Tohil Khan aged 19, who was driving the scooter and his brother Taufiq Khan aged 14, were seriously injured in the incident. According to the police, Prajakta and Abhijeet along with few of their friends were racing on the roads, when Prajakta lost the control of her car and dashed the scooter.

So the people who saw this immediately gathered on the spot and started to assault abhijeet and his friends, who were trying to pacify the crowd. The singers were apparently taken into custody by the police and were taken to the Santacruz police.

Now can you believe that Prajakta was released on a bail for just Rs. 3000 for the crime of negligent and rash driving?
