I can't believe the most talked about movie, Endhiran (Robo) Tamil movie is finally here. Enthiran எந்திரன், is the movie about man, machine and the love of their lives.

The movie Endhiran was originally named as Robot but the producers were not able to keep the name Robot due to the English title in Tamil Nadu, whose government present tax exemption to films with Tamil titles. Likely titles suggested to proceed with Robot as the title, included Iyandiran or Iyandira, both literal translations of Robot.

Enthiran, Robo movie revolves around a scientist's struggle to control his creation, an android robot whose processor was upgraded to give it the ability to comprehend and generate human emotions, from further sociological mishaps. After setting its eyes upon a beautiful woman, the robot develops love for her, who also happens to be the love interest of the scientist, which creates a conflict between the two.

The movie released worldwide on 1 October 2010 along with its dubbed versions: Robot in Hindi and Robo in Telugu. The movie budget was more than sixteen hundred million Indian rupees. Based on the Enthiran Review, the visual effects, the make-up and the technology used behind making this movie, there is no doubt that it is known for being the most expensive Asian film ever made.

The music of the film has been created by the Oscar Award winning music director A.R Rehman, who got world famous for making the music of Slum dog Millionaire.

I think this would be your best money spent for any Indian movie (If you are looking into some hollywood style actions, visual effects and ofcourse Rajanikanth...)

The pairing of Rajni along with the former miss world Aishwarya Rai Bachchan does create magic on the screen. Aishwarya is in her best. She might not be the center of the attention though, she has done pretty well against Rajanikanth.

It was a disappoiniting movie. Already theatres are virtually empty. The film just doesn't connect with Rajni. It may be commercially succesful, but for Rajni not. A R Rahman's music is total flop.

The movie is way below expectations right from the beginning, except for a 20% time. Logically flawed in many places, and lacks balance in the screen play.

Before we can talk about anything the movie, we must evaluate ourselves before the legend that the actors of the film, possess.
Has anyone thought about the values that the movie TALKS about?
First do that.. Get yourself atleast 1% near those legendary people or to that of the values that the movie talks about and then comment about them and their work.
If you cant, Shut your everyhthing and do your business..
Dont ever try to evaluate someone or something that you haven't achieved or even gave a thought off..

S.Shankar's dream project finally pays off with a small list of flaws!

However , The movie is indeed A-W-E-S-O-M-E & MIND BLOWING as it matches the standards of technical excellence ( cinematography , sound mixing , editing and background music et al).

S.Shankar continues to stun & awe not only Tamil audiences , but Indian & certain global audiences . He stills continues to maintain the balance the mood in the flow of the movie .

Rajnikanth is the stealer of the show as CHITTI THE ROBOT (so endearing that we still love villains) .

The rest of the cast lived upto their roles neatly, even the cameos of Kalabhavan Mani & late Cochin Haneefa . (Nothing much talk about the cast)

As I run out of words , On the whole , I give 8.5 /10 ! ( coz felt sad but soon later it took time to understand the whole concept! )

Must see for Sci-fi film (and Japanese Robot Animes) fans , IF INTERESTED

Hi there the movie got all kind of ingredients like huge budget, Best actress, best Actor, Advertisements Etc.,but lags with story concept. With this kind of direction we can’t get into the world cinema.
As SUN PICTURES has the goal to enter world cinema they should choose good concept movie like Paramount movies, Walt Disney, 20th fox century Ect.,
There movies are really entertaining and has a good story with best concepts.

Did u think u made a good movie with ENDHIRAN!!! We don’t feel so...
Movie is like a pogo channel program... clearly to say... lot of unrelated concept with the character definition... One of the big mistakes is... when chitty got is feelings his face reaction was the same like ROBOT same while when chitty become a Bad robot how come it shows all kind of human face reactions!!! Seems like for to entertain u designed like that???

Again why bad robot went out for charging them self while they have their own trucks inside there kootai when there is a full power cut.

Such a very intelligent robot cant even equipped with thermo sensor on them???

Hmmm funny part is while bad robot kidnapped heroin the police surrounded them and shooting without even considering of heroin in the car!!!

In Dasavatharam where Kamal is a scientist in the initial part of the movie they will show research centre where they do research and test the samples. It shows really good concept to accept but in ROBO it’s like upside down he do all kind of research in a small lab and will take out the system (robot) out to home... how come its possible sir !!!

I have seen I-ROBO English movie its has the same story but really good characterisation like the good robot will blink one eye and will say it’s a human thing. that kind of movies have released long back and you are still telling the same story as we say to children’s

More over how did this movie been accepted worldwide !!!

You tried something with your little knowledge but it’s not enough sir to get into world cinema we should learn better concept then only we should involve in these kind of projects.

If i get chance like you I would have taken a good entertain movie that would have accepted worldwide.

Hmmmmm What to say... You spoiled our entire expectation shankar sir...

There are 100's of robots so they need more charge that's y they went outside when power cut. it is not enough even though they have few trucks..

There cant be any movie better than Robot in Indian Cine Industry and an excellent blend of Western and Indian film making. If u dont like this movie no indian movie is worth a watch. Dont miss it.
