Sonia Dara has become the First South Asian (Indian American to be more specific) model on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition 2010.Sonia Dara is the daughter of Indian immigrants Georgia residents Poornima and Prithipal Dara.
She was discovered by Sports Illustrated Magazine team at an AMTC event when she was 16. She has worked with clients such as Cosmo Girl, Seventeen, Neiman Marcus and Vogue India and is also a sophomore at Harvard College.
