
With the launch of this route, Kingfisher Airlines becomes the first airline to connect Pune - Kolkata sector. The route will now enable convenient day return for guests. The business track of Kingfisher Airlines will definitely grow through the launch of this route.
The modification involves installation of two cameras near the nose landing gear. Each of the cameras weighs about 4.5 Kilos and will enable guests onboard to see the scenic view on-ground on their personalized screens.
Landscape camera will be displayed on channel 2 of Kingfisher Airlines Airbus aircraft In-flight entertainment systems.
Landscape Camera is a unique service available internationally with some airlines but on the domestic circuit, Kingfisher Airlines is yet again the first to offer this service
Kingfisher Airlines operates 163 flights daily across 26 key business and leisure destinations in India. Recently on May 9, 2007, Kingfisher Airlines completed two successful years of operations and celebrated the same by bringing home the world's largest aircraft the Airbus A380. Kingfisher Airlines is India's first airline to order five Airbus A380 aircraft.
