Essar and Virgin backed The Mobile Store which started in Early 2007 has opened up around 600 stores across India. The Mobile Store claims to have over million customers, has a presence in over 76 cities and has begged 6 awards.
The Mobile store's concept is to provide different categories of phones to the consumer. These categories includes Business - PDA & Smartphones, Emails, data transfer etc Lifestyle - Fashion phones, Look and elegance, Fun - Multimedia & music, camera, games, wacky ring tones and wallpapers, Value for Money - Special offers, discounts and budget phones.

Now The Mobile Store has gone one step further and has launched its online operations. Now anyone in India who wants to buy a mobile phone can just log onto www.themobilestore.in and can purchase any mobile phone. The Mobile Store is providing free delivery all over India.
You can make payments using credit cards. I am not sure if they provide different payment methods though. Having Payment at the time of delivery would have been a huge benifit for those who doesn't have credit cards.
