Hammacher Schlemmer, a unique gifts offering company has introduced a new device called digital photo frame with inbuilt scanner . This device helps us in preserving our old printed photos for many years.
The scanner changes our old photos into a 300 dpi jpg images with a single press of a button, and has a built in 1 GB of internal memory to store upto 3K images.
These stored images are viewed in a 8 inch TFT LCD screen at 800x600 resolution.We can view the images as slideshow accompanied by MP3 sound track.
There are two slots available to store scanned images onto an memory card or a USB storage device.The stored images can be then transferred to system running Windows XP, Vista, 7, or Mac OS.
