MapmyIndia , a leading navigational company providing GPS system for cars has now targeted motorbiking enthusiasts with their all new TrailBlazer navigational system. The company believes that this technology will be useful for group of bikers on their long trips.
The device claims to cover over 620 cities of India and comes with a FM transmitter for voice directions to FM radios in a given range. As the system is waterproof, it won’t be affected by showers. Travel destinations and highway routes are also preloaded on the system.
MapmyIndia’s MD, Rakesh Verma told the reporters that “ The company plans to the way GPS navigation gadgets are used in 2010 and beyond. The company has also achieved the position of market leader and is already rolling-out GPS devices and solutions never before seen but widely required in India. We are expecting demand for GPS and GPS-based products to grow rapidly in the years to come. Our latest product releases are part of the continuous innovation at MapmyIndia to revolutionize and lead GPS and maps industry.”
The ‘TrialBlazer’ can also be used as an audio player and is tagged at Rs.18,990.
The company also launched National Motoring Atlas at Rs.290.
