Good news for Airtel customers. Looks like Airtel customers now can access their account information online. Airtel has launched a complete online account management facility for broadband and landline customers.
You can now register to AirtelWorld by providing the necessary details in the online registration form. Once you register to your Airtel account, you can then access your account information such as last four bills, unbilled usage details etc.
You can make bill payments online through credit cards and all leading banks’ debit cards. You can also subscribe to the monthly e-bill service, segregate your personal calls, view your bill analysis and summary etc.
So register yourself with Airtel.in and start accessing your Airtel account online.

I think you are write, after writing this article I tried to access that account
page and it was damn slow. I don't have Airtel services so couldn't login and
look inside but I don't blame you for what you wrote.
Indian companies don't consider customer's convenience.

there are three reasons for this -
1) When you really need it, the probability of you seeing this message is high.
- "Since system maintenance is in progress, you will not be able to access
your web account. Please try after sometime.We regret the inconvenience
caused."
2) try paying your bills using credit/debit cards and sometimes (infact most of
the times) you will see a "page cannot be displayed" after you submit
the amount. Which means you are left in doubt if the transaction is complete or
not. And if it isnt, man thats a lot of pain.
3) There is nothing called customer service in this case, whatever you call them
for, the standard reply would be "systems are down, please access after
sometime".
But still..you can call this a 'good news' if you want to :)
