Aircel India, the pan India GSM mobile service provider recently launched its wireless internet phone (WIP) at Rs 3299. This is a first-of-its-kind offering and the WIP service comes with attractive prepaid and postpaid rental plans.
The Aircel WIP is at the same time a phone and an internet modem and is preloaded with a web browser. The phone also features single touch GPRS/WAP (pocket internet access) and is made available in all the 22 telecom circles in India. The device is a compact and easy to use model with a 3.5 inches TFT LCD screen.
