What did you say when you wish your friends a happy new year? Did you say "2010: Twenty Ten or Two Thousand Ten"??

What do you say when you talk about 1947? Ninteen Fourty Seven.. not Ninteen Hundred and Fourty Seven.. Now say the year "1810" out loud. Now say the year "1999" out loud.

Looks like we made a mistake ten years back and now its time to correct it.

There is a site called Twentynot2000.com that has started The "twenty-ten" movement -- and it is just that -- is spreading online.

The Facebook group "It's Twenty-ten, not Two-thousand and ten" lists more than 5000 members. Which side are you? Twenty Ten or Two Thousand Ten?

  you have a valid point there. I guess no body realized this (or felt it easier)
  until we hit the two digit years in 2000'
