Google has developed a tool called Browser Size, to help the website owners to understand how internet users see their website.
This tool is based on collection of sample data from visitors to google.com. It uses a special code , which collects data on height and width of the for a sample of users. The tool will let you know what percentage of user can see a particular given point in the browser.
For example, if an important button is in the 80% region it means that 20% of users have to scroll in order to see it. By looking at the data collected by Browser Size , web designers can redesign their web page to reduce scrolling and confirm that essential parts of the page are visible to the audience. Google hopes that people will use this tool for the betterment of their website for all.
