The estimate for the male female ratio in the next 2 years is that it will be closer to the 60:40 ratio but will still result in the absolute numbers of men being higher then women.

Senior Netizens above the age group of 61 years are a fast growing group online. The absolute numbers of Senior Netizen are expected to rise to 3 million by 2007-08.
The % penetration is expected to remain the same or increase marginally from the current 2.7% to 3%.

Sales of Railway Tickets are highest in Mumbai (25%) & Delhi (21%) followed by Chennai (8%), Bangalore (7%), Ahmedabad (2%), Kanpur (2%). The 'Other cities and towns' (31%) completes the category. With greater Internet penetration coupled with the Railways impetus to increasing 'e' infrastructure the numbers for other cities will increase in the near future.

The 26-45 years age group is the highest purchaser of Hotel Rooms online accounting for 72% of purchases with a lion’s share of 53% falling in the 26-35 years age group.
