Facebook Stops Spammy Emails - Only Summary Emails

How many facebook emails do you get everyday? Lets say you have 100 friends and you have by default turned on the email notifications for everything happens to you and your friends in facebook, you may be getting quite many emails from Facebook everyday.

Well, Facebook has announced that it will stop spamming your mailbox with Facebook updates emails and send summary emails instead.

Hi We're trying out a new feature to reduce the amount of email you receive from Facebook. Starting today, we are turning off most individual email notifications and instead, we'll send you a summary only if there are popular stories you may have missed.You can turn individual emails back on and restore all your original settings at any time.Thanks,
The Facebook Team

So if you still want those emails, you can go to your facebook accout and under profile settings, change the notifications to allow individual emails.
