With this new interface, Twitter has simplified the cutting edge technology induced at the homepage and also introduced a new color based scheme. Earlier the homepage was mostly dominated by white and light blue colors. Media reports, Twitter is undergoing traditional changes as “top tweets” or “trending topics” and “see that’s here” sections, which used to snatch numbers on its home page. Very soon popular avatar will be at the front page/homepage.
Sudden switch off/on over priority based services signifies Twitter Search is putting another section which will take interests on the new homepage. Recently only Twitter has updated searching mechanism, to enhance the services for Twitter’s 200 million users where only 0.05 percent of them are active. Selecting “interests” parameter became the centre stage, as new users would be able to connect with people who share their interests. Fortunately, this would help Twitter to get new users and retain also.
Above all, Twitter goes on Branding concept where it will turn products into networking business. May be in future, Twitter may develop such plans to business world.
