Jack Dorsey was one of the founders of Twitter INC, the micro-blogging giant. Earlier Dorsey had served as Twitter’s CEO until 2008, when co-founder Evan Williams took over the CEO post. News Agency Business Insider writes that Jack Dorsey may move up to "something like a chief product officer," according to an unidentified tipster.
Dorsey is currently serving as CEO of mobile payments service Square. According to Times, he will retain this title, while Business Insider supposes that he will focus only on the Twitter Product Development department.
A Twitter spokeswoman would neither confirm nor deny the report, telling the Tech blog, "Twitter is lucky to have the involvement of its founders. As we said last fall, we're fortunate that Jack (our chairman) is able to get even more engaged in the company. His assistance has been and will continue to be invaluable." ~ (Courtesy: LATimes)
Reports also say Dick Costolo, Twitter's current CEO, would not be moved out in whatsoever new role Dorsey may take on. If we go along with the reports, then deal is not yet finalized. Its somewhat like a wait & watch situation.Will be keeping our fingers crossed, till any such official comment come from Twitter side
