Facebook

After Warner Bros, now Facebook wanted to tie up with few more online video rental firms. Now it’s more than just a matter film making demands to promote movies & videos through social media channels.

Facebook routed its arm towards some credible video alternatives like You Tube, Amazon & even Netflix. Deals‘re not yet sealed, hopefully Facebook will gradually depart new offers.

Being, World No.1 Social Networking channel with the biggest chain of Advertising channel, Facebook grips hard on all age-group people. No matter, what you like? It’s all serve the best deal in terms of online entertainment. While signing up with these firms, no such issue of copy piracy. Since, online medium is vast source of massy privacy. Facebook bulls along with huge networking circle, as to get more traffic with optimized search engines. It remains a deal to be modeled on new business stream, as in credits & debits history. Credits had been previously used by social games on Facebook website. Now it all sets to have universal currency. Universally, Facebook will deem on comparison to iTunes. More effective videos in quality as well as in revenues scale. Google’s You Tube & Apple’s iTunes are the biggest competitors here for Facebook; rivals will also get taste of new enmity gun.

In fact video is on the same basis as iTunes – Facebook takes a 30 per cent segment of all revenues using Credits, and of course keeps all the ad revenue – again same as iTunes. It is blurred at this time whether or not the films can be streamed and halted at leisure and continued on other devices, but if so, that's a powerful pure web delivery mechanism. Till now, Facebook only allows streaming of non-commercial videos, with these new tie-ups Facebook needs to enhance its copyright protection policies. Still doubt, how Facebook will take up the issue of copyright with international producers.

Earlier to this week, there was news in US papers and news sites, including Forbes, reported Goldman Sachs analyst Ingrid Chung as saying that Facebook plans for a long-term threat to online rental service Netflix, which we wholly agree with. It's tough to comment at this point to see what stage the Facebook plans are at, but if it's taking video to Facebook users, but Facebook seems outline for public space in video market. If it is on experimental basis, then obliviously Facebook will enact the policy soon & target the other players in the future. Netflix fences with new off & on deal in the market, its quite wait & watch for us to look at this new comparative deal.
