Its been about a year or two since Google launched a feature to search for movies showtimes near your area. You could see reviews about the movies, theater locations, showtimes etc.
Apparently, Google is not displaying the correct data for movie with similar titles in other movie industries like Hollywood or Malayalam movies or Telugu movies. Check for yourself below
Cocktail movie featuring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Meera was released today. The movie Cocktail is doing quite good considering Deepika Padukone's bikini scene. But when I was trying to find a movie showtimes for Cocktail in Google, I noticed that Google is showing movie information about the Malayalm movie Cocktail that was released in 2010. (see the screenshot below).
Now that Indians are everywhere, movie Cocktail is also released in USA. I quickly checked the movie showtimes in New Jersey and guess what? Google Movie is showing information about 1988 film 'Cocktail' and not the just released cocktail. (See the screenshots below).
Looks like Google engineer's have some work to do now..
