TaxiAutoFare.com provides taxi and auto fare information for cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Amritsar, Pune, Aurangabad, Chandigarh,Coimbatore,Dharwad, Hyderabad,Jaipur,Ludhiana,Mangalore,Nagpur,Patna & Trivandrum. TaxiAutoFare.com also provides a mobile version of the site which you can access from anywhere with your mobile phone.

WorldTaxiMeter.com - an online website that allows you to easily and accurately calculate the taxi fares for many cities in the world. For India, they only cover New Delhi. Its simple, you enter the "from" and "to" address and the site tells you the detail route and the taxi fare card.

Delhi Government AutoFare - Delhi Government has also launched a site that provides your taxi fares for New Delhi. You can visit the site and select your origin and destination, the site will provide you the information about the auto fares.

FareMap.in - This is a fairly new website and provides visual information for your auto taxi fares in Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru. The site uses your browser's geolocation feature to detect your location and gives you a full screen map where you can pick your origin and destination. Once selected the "From" and "To", the site gives you three alternative routes and the fares for those alternate routes (with approximate meter readings).

While the above sites give you an approximate auto taxi fare rates, you can use an application to find out the exact distance you travelled in an auto or taxi.

TukTuk Meter - TukTuk Meter can help the commuter to get a fair fare from the Autorickshaws. This application can dynamically calculate the autorickshaw fare by measuring the distance travelled.
