There is a tool called WMWifiRouter for Windows Mobile 6 (possibly 5) that uses your mobile phone's wifi to create an Ad-Hoc network for you. Using this wi-fi, you can use your wi-fi enabled laptop or other devices such as create your own ipod touch to use internet connection via your mobile.
Here is how you do it.
Go to this page and download the appropriate application for your mobile phone.Follow the instruction on their website for the installation
Once you have successfully installed the application, it will create an Ad-Hoc network for you named "WMWifiRouter".
rom your wi-fi device, search for available wireless connection
Locate "WMWifiRouter" and you are not connected to the internet using your mobile internet.
You are all set. You have created a mobile wi-fi router. Now you have wireless connection where ever you go. Its like having a wifi on the go.
