So today is 08/08/08.. August 8th, 2008. This number 08/08/08 will repeate again after 100 years. Today when I just realized it, I thought of writing it up here.

What are the major events happening today? The biggest of all is Olympics 2008 in starting today in Beijing.  The most controversial olympics game in the history I guess starting with the Olympics Medals By Country On the Map to its relay torch.

Apart from Beijing Olympics game start, are there any other major events for today??
