Google is a great online suite for all your internet needs. Whether its an email application or search or online videos, Google has provided excellent features for its users all for free. Within last 5 years, Google has translated its services in more than 30 languages. Recent addition was Google Hindi.

So how can you get Google's services in more languages? Google has started its volunteer translation service where you can select the languages which you are fluent in and Google will throw you phrases and senteses to convert it into your known languages.

 

Being an India I would love to see Google's services in more Indian languages. So if you know more than one Indian language and want to contribute to Google's volunteer translation service, you can visit google.com/transconsole. Once you are logged into your Google account, it will ask you to select the languages in which you are fluent. Gujarati, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, Bihari, Oriya and many more.

Once you select your languages, it will ask you to select the products that you would like to translate to in languages of your choice. Once you pick a product, It will ask you to translate new messages or verify the existing translations. Google will bring you phrases and ask you to enter appropriate translation for those phrases or senteses.

If you have selected any Indian languages and want to contribute, you can use Webdunia's online language search tool where you can enter your english characters and it will convert it to your selected language. Once you have that convereted text, you can copy it into Google's translation text box and submit it.
