Creating Free Blog at Blogger

To have your own blog for free start by signing up for a free account at Blogger , the leading free blogging website. Then using their easy interface create the blog which will be like ‘YourName.blogpost.com’. After that you can manage and add new posts this new blog by logging in to Blogger. There are several templates that you can choose to have a good look and feel of website and extensive knowledge of web designing is not required for managing your blog.

Your OwnName.Com Blog

If you want to have your ownname.com type of blog then get a domain name from GoDaddy at $7.19/year and any free web hosting  like SiteGround would do or you can pay small fee of $4/month for hosting your blog at popular web hosts like 1and1. Advantage of having yourownname.com is that you get complete ownership and would get more advertisers and those advertisers who pay for sponsored reviews (paid blogging is explained bellow) won’t accept those blogspot.com blogs. And investing $20 initially would give a lot of returns after 2-3 months.       

How Indians Make Money from Their Blog

Adsense - Signup for Google Adsense which is an advertising service that would show advertisements on your blog and pay you for every click its ads get in your blog. While signing up for Adsense when asked for your website enter the address of the your blog. Here you can earn $0.01 -$2 usually for every click and the earnings would be accumulated in your account and you can receive the payment once it reaches $100. Most of the Indians are getting good revenue from Adsense which pays monthly via cheques that are in local currency and needs a bank account to cash the cheque in.

Other PPC Advertisement Services - Besides adsense other advertising services like Adbrite, Clicksor pay you per click basis and some pay per 1000 impressions too. But the problem with Adbrite is they don’t give good money for non USA clicks and Adsense is the best.  Also Adbrite sends cheques in dollars which needs 2-3 months and some fees for getting cleared and cashed to your bank account.

Sponsored Review – Some advertisers pay some bucks after you review abnout them or post any information about them in your blog. Most of such advertisers can be found in paid blogging websites like ReviewMe, SponsredReviews.Com, PayPerPost etc. they would pay $5-$100 per review you make in your blog depending on the quality of your blog. Higher the Alexa ranking, Google Pagerank and no. of RSS Feed subscribers of the blog, the more you would earn from a single review. Also you can not do sponsored reviews in free blogs at blogspot.com and others as you need 3 months old blog on its own domain.

Selling Links – You can also earn from your blog by putting text links of advertisers in sidebar or at some place in your blog.  You need to have a good Google Pagerank for selling links at good prices. Sending & Receiving Payments Online
