If you are one of those first internet webmail users, you would recognize RocketMail. RocketMail was one of the first major free webmail services. RocketMail battled with Hotmail for the number one spot and later were acquired by Yahoo! in 1997. At the time of the transition, RocketMail users were not guaranteed for their rocketmail ID and were offered to either choose a Yahoo! ID or "username.rm".
Today, Yahoo! announced that it will allow new users to sign up for accounts under the rocketmail.com domain. Also Yahoo! has launched another domain YMail.com as one of the available domain for email account. Users will get same features as Yahoo Mail users.
So grab your @rocketmail.com or @ymail.com names before someone else grab it.
