There is a huge effort going on around the world to convert hard copy books from library into digital format. There are many sites and scanning centers helping convert those files and make it available for users to read the books online for free.

Just recently, Private Papers of Charles of Charles Darwin went public. India is also not behind in this effots. Government of India led project Digital Library of India is also converting the existing books into digital format. This project will convert telugu books line, Gujarati books, Tamil books, Urdu books into digital format. 

It will make online telugu books reading possible. You will be able to read tamilnadu text book publications online. As many of you might know, tamil nadu state board board textbooks are already available Tamil Nadu State TextBooks Online.

The Digital Library of India, new.DLI.ernet.in has already converted 1,22,143 books and is now available online for free. You can read all the subject books online free. Out of all the other language, total 14,090 telugu books are free online. So now you can free download telugu books. One day all telugu free online books will be available.
