Social networks are growing and so do the mobile users and mobile subscribers. Even the mobile internet browsing is also growing after the launch of smart phones such as iPhone and N-95. So now social networks are focusing on making their application compatible for your mobile phones.

Here is the list of your favourite social networking sites that can be accessed on your mobile. You do need GPRS/Data Plan or SMS features to access these social networking sites on your mobile though. 

1. MySpace - America's number one social networking site MySpace is accessible on your mobile @ mobile.myspace.com. MySpace that is also now available in India. You can access MySpace India @ http://in.myspace.com 

2. Facebook - Facebook which is beating Orkut and other social networks pretty quickly has also launched its application for mobile users. Facebook can be accessed on your mobile at m.facebook.com. 

3. Orkut - Google's take on Social Networking. Orkut which was the only social network that kept its users away from mobile interface for so long. But the wait is over and now orkuters can access their scraps and stuff via mobile at m.orkut.com. You can look at the scraps you received or can send a scrap in return using your mobile phone. 

4. Friendster - Friendster which has over 65 million members worldwide is another social networking site that lets you stay in touch with your friends and discover new people. You can now access friendster using your mobile phone at Friendster.com/fmobile. Currently friendster mobile is only available in the Philippines for Smart, Globe and Sun mobile phones. For the rest of the phone, you can use add FriendsterToGo widget in your friendster profile. Once the widget is added to your profile, you can access Friendster mobile by visiting FriendsterToGo.com. 

5. Pownce - Pownce is a social network that lets you send messages, files, links and events to your friends. You can create your network or join the networks created by your friends. You can access Pownce on your mobile at m.pownce.com. 

6. Fropper - Fropper is an Indian social network. You can access fropper on your mobile at Fropper.com/wap.
