One website has taken an initiative to put all those phishes into a tank so that you can find them all at one place. The website is called PhishTank.com.
PhishTank.com provided an interface where you can search for existing phishing sites or verify the ones that are out there. If you come across any new phishing site, you can add that to PhishTank.com. It gives stats as well. So far it has around 12,959 valid phishing sites and it has total 391,856 submissions so far. You can vote for the phishing sites as well.
To protect yourself from phishing attacks, you can take phishing quizzes that educates you on what to look for and what to avoid kinda stuff. I have compiled the list of sites that you can go to take these phishing quizzes.
- Carnegie Mellon University has created this nice phishing quiz game. This is the best phishing quiz out there which can give you all the detail information about the phishing scams.
- SoniWall has also created this phishing quiz
- PayPal has its own Can You Spot Phishing quiz
- Washington Post has created this small questioner for phishing
- SiteAdvisor used to keep a quiz for Phishing but the link is not working anymore. I did find Spyware Quiz and Spam Quiz though.
If you know any other phishing quiz, please post your comment and I will include it here. If you like this story, please stumble it or spread it or send to your friends and protect them from phishing attacks. You can subscribe to our RSS feeds to get such informational articles.
