BigAdda.com To Launch Instant Messenger

As you all might know, one of the most famous social networking site MySpace.com launched its instant messenger service last year and it was a hit. BigAdda.com, India's social networking site by Reliance ADAG group is also planning something similar in their future plans.

 

This future is not that far though, the BigAdda IM would be made available to the users within the next six weeks. So probably somewhere around Christmas of 2007. (according to The Hindu). So what else is coming on BigAdda.com's way?

 

Well the BigAdda team is also planning to launch Music Vertical pretty soon. According to The Hindu, the site currently has 40 million registered users (which I believe is little exaggerated). They are hoping to add 10 million more users till 2010. So they got 40 million users within like one year and now hoping to add only 10 million more within next two years? I have my doubts on this story.

 

But yeah, look out for BigAdda.com for couple of more features specially the instant messenger. I am already eager to see it now.

    Its not 40 million.

    You copied it incorrect. The Hindu article says "The domestic Internet user base now stands at 40 million subscribers and more people are using mobile phones to access Internet."
