Yahoo integrates Yahoo Answers content into mobile search service, oneSearch. This is part of their global launch in 18+ countries. These countries include Argentina, Autralia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, UK, US and Vietnam according to Yahoo Search official blog.
In their own words
"Yahoo! oneSearch and Yahoo! Answers both offer platforms for searching -- oneSearch with instant results to your queries from your mobile phone and Answers with the content of 350 million answers from over 95 million users worldwide".
God only knows whether those "accepted" answers are really correct or just a site promotion from bloggers/webmasters. I have seen lot of 'accepted' answers that has nothing to with the actual question.
Yahoo mobile oneSearch also rolled out flight information search which I believe is only for US right now. All you need to do is enter the airline name followed by flight number. for e.g. try searching for Air Canada 80
Also you will see results from Wikipedia embeded in your mobile oneSearch. Yahoo recently revamped its search for USA. A search now shows related terms that you might want to try, Yahoo’s search assistant now pops under the search box while you are typing and offers suggested search terms and more topics you might want to explore. The search results now include multimedia if its available for the search term.
Multimedia includes videos from YouTube and photos from Flickr. I believe that these new features are available only for USA but Yahoo will soon rollout these changes to other countries as well.
So check out these new features @ your Yahoo Mobile oneSearch.
