Are you a crazy facebook fan, enough to buy the mobile phone made by Facebook? Even though it is a rumor, TechCrunch has reported that facebook is secretly building a mobile phone with the software from Facebook and hardware from the third party.

No, the Facebook Phone Specifications are not actually leaked but the speculations are that the phone will have some deep deep operating level integration with facebook and  if the future is social networking, then everything on that phone should be socially oriented. Which means everything on the phone should be very Facebook friendly.

So what would the Facebook Phone look like?

It surely will be touchscreen because in the age of HTCs and Galaxys and iPhones, who wants to have a phone without touchscreen? The phone will surely have deep contact integration with the operating system and considering the current market as TechCrunch predicts, the phone would cost somewhere around $50.

But the features like deep facebook integration and contact sync are already available for the most powerful mobile operating system webOS (with true multitasking and non-intrusive notifications).

So why would someone buy a Facebook phone? I personally would prefer real phone and then have an application for the Facbeook..
