I am not sure if you have seen it but since today, I have been seeing a weird youtube queue toolbar at the bottom of any video that you play on YouTube. Its annoying. The toolbar has recommendations for you and other buttons that allows you to turn on the auto play, turn the shuffle on for your queue. It also allows you to actually clear your queue, play next, previous videos etc.

Now not everyone likes that toolbar. I am one of those. So If you too don't like to see that annoying YouTube queue bar at the bottom of your browser, here is how you can disable it.

Firefox --

If you are using firefox, install the AdBlock Plus, then open Preferences-->Add Filter and then add the following three lines as seperate filters..

• youtube.com##DIV#quicklist-tray
• youtube.com##DIV#quicklist-bar
• youtube.com##DIV#quicklist-bar-container

Chrome --

Install the AdBlock extension for Google Chrome. Now go to Extensions--> Click on Adblock Options --> BlackList and Click on the "Hide a section of a webpage" and then add the following lines one by one. Put domain as "youtube.com"

• DIV#quicklist-tray
• DIV#quicklist-bar
• DIV#quicklist-bar-container

I am not sure about IE though. I know IE8 also have Adblock extension called AdblockIE. May be you can try one of the above settings for IE8 too.
