According to Business Standard, Indian Hotels Company reported 134.5 crore net profit for their first quarter. The company’s new five-star hotels are under construction in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Coimbatore and Noida.
Emaar MGF has tied up with Whitbread as 50:50 partnerships to develop 80 hotels by 2017 of the brand Premier Travel Inn. These hotels will provide rooms between the range of Rs. 2,400 to Rs. 3,600.

Cabana Hotels Management Ltd has master license for Best Western India. The Cabana group will develop 3.5 to 4 star hotels in various cities and 5 star capable hotels in major cities. The group has finalized plans for hotels in Ooty, Bangalore, Jaisalmer, Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram, Bhubaneshwar and now looking at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad and other major cities.
Berggruen Hotels, promoted by US investment firm Berggruen Holdings, on Tuesday said it will invest Rs 1,100 crore (Rs 11 billion) over the next five years to build 38 'Keys' brand budget hotels comprising about 4,500 rooms across India. (read more)
