Ayurveda (आयुर्वेद ) is an ancient system of health care that is native to the Indian subcontinent.

Aymex, a travel and medical tourism company, has launched Ayurveda-Portal.com, a one-stop shop for tourists in search of ayurvedic medicinal treatments.

The portal aims to bring ayurveda doctors, hospitals, resorts, hotel, houseboat operators, home stay providers in a global platform. In addition, herbal suppliers, pharmaceuticals, ayurveda online shops, therapists, cosmetic shops, beauticians and yoga centres also play their part in the portal, he said. (source: The Hindu)

I checked out the website. Ayurveda-portal redirects to hallo-india.com. I don't understand this. If you launch a website/domain, why can't you keep your visitors to the same domain rather then redirecting them to some other domain.

The site looks good when you look at the front page. It displays nice ayurvedic massage video as soon as you land on the front page. But the moment you click on any of the links, it goes to some sort of yellow pages/web directory.

Quite a few of the links on their front page are not active. Looks like the site is some sort of web directory. I didn't like the site personally. May be they will improve it over the time but the first impression was not good. And someone said that "First Impression is last impression"
