Registered users of PayMate can make the booking directly through CitiBank by SMS and the rest can do so through IVRS (interactive voice response system), akin to what most banks have for tele-banking.(source:AgencyFAQ)
Same goes for ClearTrip (launched SMS based mobile search for flights) and TravelMartIndia (launched a mobile phone booking and payment service, the company announced in a statement on Wednesday. Cell phone users can browse flight schedules, make bookings and pay for their tickets using SMS. Wireless transactions platform provider Paymate powers the payment module).
