Palm Pre completely supports SharePod. So if you don't want to download iTunes to sync your Palm Pre music, you might want to download SharePod.
I was trying to look for mp3 files in my Palm Pre when I connected it to my computer and I was surprised when I found out that Palm Pre has a hidden folder under its root directory called "iPod_Control". iPod_Control is the folder where Palm Pre stores music files.
Updates: So it worked at my home PC where I had iTunes installed. I copied the SharePod application into my Palm Pre's hard disk so that I can copy songs at work. Today morning I came to work and plugged in my Palm Pre using USB and ran the SharePod application. It worked fine, opened up the interface to copy songs from my work PC to Palm Pre.. showed a message that songs are copied but when I unplug Palm pre and looked at the music, I couldn't locate those copied new songs??
Looks like It doesn't work 100%... I will keep this post updated when I find something new. Thanks.
