DishTV Ties up With Google For TV AdsADVERTISEONDISH.COM - I was just watching Dish TV and saw this commercial about advertising on Dish TV using Google TV Ads. The commercial was marketing about AdvertiseOnDish.com but I couldn't find the domain in google search so I went ahead and just typed it in and to my surprise, it actually redirected to Google Adwords TV Ads landing page.
Looks like Google and DishTV has tied up together to bring in advertisers for Google Adwords TV Ads. I am a very very small publisher but thought of trying out TV Ads and as expected, I wasn' t allowed to create Google TV Ads.
Google TV Ads are available only to advertisers located in the United States who pay in U.S. dollars. Also you need to request access to TV Ads in your Adwords account.
I will not be surprised if Google ties up with Tata Sky, Dish TV India and Big TV in near future to bring TV Ads into Indian television networks. It will work in India or not is a different story though.
