Google today launched a new feature called Countdown to 2009. The idea is to give you a tip of the day. If you are planning to travel during this holiday season, google will remind you to check out your flight status etc with Google search. I think this Countdown to 2009 will allow google to promote its different services.

Google is been adding more and more 3D buildings into its Google Earth application. Last year noradsanta.org used Google Earth to track Santa and I guess this year it will be more fun to watch how noradsanta.org uses Google Earth's rich 3D buildings and terrain to track Santa.
