Faayda.com Relaunched As Job Search Engine

Today morning I got an email from Faayda Prashant, the founder of Faayda.com who launched Faayda as a SAS (Software as a service) website. The concept was really great and could have done a better job promoting it. Their first Invoice Module got quite a bit of coverage from different blogs and Faayda.com managed to get around 100 members. But fate has something else for Faayda.com

Faayda is now relaunched as a job meta search engine. I hate to see that Faayda started with different concept and ended up with herd concept of Job meta search engine. I would definitely wait for Prashant to answer on "What really happened and why the focus has been shifted to Job meta search engine?"

New Faayda is no different than Bixee.com, gladoo.com (which is now career.tolmol.com) or indeed.com. Prashant has a tough fight for his Job meta search engine against Monster, TimesJobs, Naukri and many others.

I wish him good luck but he could have thought of some other concept. I have been thinking about a nice project for the last one year but don't have enough resources to work on it and been busy with the job that pays my bills.

    Nice to see you here Prashant. I agree with you about the VC's. Looks like the Indian entrepreneurs are going for the "that has already worked" in the market. Whether there are other hundred companies working on the same product or not, VC's prefer to invest in that same product but not in something unique.

    Thanks for the article... true there is a lot of work ahead as the market is very tough but when the going gets tough, the tough get going ;) The last time i was relying on investors to pay the bills but learnt that VC's have their own issues when it comes to innovation... so left it at that.
