The Twitter account of the India’s postal service is just three months old and has 4000 followers. The former minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor praised the India Post for launching their service on Twitter. He said that it was an example which all ministers had to follow. All messages from customers can be send @PostOfficeIndia. The account welcomes the new users with the following message; your neighborhood is a community asset, it is yours.
